About Me
Annemarie was born in 1989 and grew up in Germany. She spent some time studying in the United States and The Netherlands and completed her Bachelor's degree in Film Studies and American Studies in 2016.
She's been working in the film business ever since and produced several international commercials and directed music videos, commercials and case studies. Working as a Producer, she had the privilege of traveling the world and shooting in amazing locations, such as active volcanos in Ethiopia, frozen lakes in Sweden, breathtaking waterfalls in Iceland and beautiful landscapes in Tanzania, Zanzibar, and Namibia, to name a few.
She has been working on international feature film sets, as well as TV series. In 2021 she started working closely with the director Adolfo J. Kolmerer as his Personal Assistant. She worked as a 2nd unit director on the international mystery show "Oderbruch" that premiered at the Filmfest Munich in July 2023 as well as for the Amazon Prime Original Feature Film "Der Heimweg", which is based on the bestselling novel by author Sebastian Fitzek, which will premiere later in 2024. She also took the role as 2nd unit director for the new ARD format "Der Galicien Krimi", starring, among others, Michael Epp, Mercedes Müller, and Dirk Borchardt.
She is currently developing her directional fiction debut with the writers Julian Schäfer and Madeleine Hartung .
